Strange Overtones - David Byrne an Brian Eno

You know what is really glorious about being in your twenties? That rare moment when you step back, assess a-not-quite-comfortable situation and find yourself being surprisingly mature about it. When you can come off that date that didn't go quite according to plan and instead of beating yourself senselessly over it, you pause, breathe and think "he just wasn't for me". But most important, you actually believe what you're saying. You shake it off and keep moving without a second of doubt. I wouldn't trade this ability for all the shoes in the world.

It is strong and you are tough,
but a heart is not enough.
