Lillie - Milt Jackson

The milkmaid braids in some parts of the world remain a symbol of goodness, purity, rosy cheeks and all that garbage. In my little part of the world, I walk into the room and my Mum chirps, "Nice slave braids".

The woman has a PhD in keeping it real.

Shoes - Chanel

(High low at it's finest).

BWAH HA HA! Oh, mom!

I was once swanning around the house with a scarf over my hair, feeling very glamorous, and my mother said to someone she was on the phone with, "Oh, here's Wendy with a schmatte on her head."

can you do that to my hair?

I almost bought a pair of those shoes twice--but they persisted in being too pinchy and flat. Are they truly comfortable for you? I do love how they look . . .

Miss Cavendish they take a bit of time to loosen up, but once they do, they mold quite nicely to your foot and end up being the shoes you always reach for. The only fault, they're delicate and hard to keep clean.

Wendy B, K. Line and Vina, mothers, man . . . mothers!

Cornpuddin, you know she would eat you alive with some of your get ups, so I don't know what you're laughing about :)

Chubbs I'll do that with your hair next time I'm in town. It'll be fun. We'll need an abundance of bobby pins.
